Storage of e-mails in Outlook Express is similar to that of storage of emails in Outlook, but with minor changes. Outlook stores all the email data in a single pst file, while Outlook Express stores all the e-mail data, in a folder by name Folder.dbx. This folder in turn contains various dbx folders like Inbox.dbx, Drafts.dbx, Sent Items.dbx, and Deleted Items.dbx. Each folder contains data pertaining to the respective emails.

One of the most common causes of loss of emails in Outlook Express is the loss that occurs when you compact the emails. If the compact task is not performed in the right manner, there is a good chance that you might end up losing all your important and confidential e-mails.

But, all is not lost, if you are a little careful and avoid trying any adventurous stuff, hoping to get back your lost emails. It is always good to make use of a Outlook Express Recovery software, that recover deleted emails from Outlook Express, and recover all the lost/deleted emails.

REMO Recover Outlook Express is a dbx repair tool, which is capable of recovering all your lost/deleted emails from Outlook Express. It uses the new Astute-Scan™ technology to locate and recover deleted emails from Outlook Express, even when the archive file is having intensive damages.

Outlook Express Repair is a somewhat more conventional process in that a software tool for Outlook Express recovery utilizes a normal data recovery scanning technique. Outlook Express saves messages in the DBX file format. So when we attempt mail recovery from a computer using Express as its email client we must think in terms of DBX Repair. Why DBX repair as opposed to DBX recovery? Just as with full scale Microsoft Outlook, Outlook express has problems with inbox applications becoming corrupted. Think of this as if the door to your mailbox had rusted shut. No mail can be rescued until you repair the broken door. In the case of data recovery we must always recover our lost files first before we reload the application files and with that rebuild our inbox.
